How I Won the War

Film Packaging

John Lennon and I were watching a cricket tournament one day and a war erupted. We both agreed that war was absurd. He went on to make a movie about it and I promised him I would some day create the packaging for his film, worthy of the icon he would eventually become. So, when the time came, I tossed in a few never-before-seen photos of John from the film, illustrated a few flowers, bullets and guns and lastly I used John’s favorite colour, yellow. The package was perfect. Then Fox scaled down the whole project, denying the world of excellent design. Without John fighting by my side, you are left with only these images to imagine what could have been. I miss you John.
